Yesterday (Friday the 26th) was Jason’s birthday. Kristin and I spent the day setting up a small family party for him. We baked a german chocolate cake for him and decorated the house. We had dinner and Champagne. I would have liked to do more for him but I’m 8 months pregnant now and it is hard just cleaning the house. Anyway, it was fun being able to do this for Jason to let him know how much we love him and to thank him for all he does.
To my best friend Erin, I want to say congratulations! I saw the pictures and videos of Baby Luke, he is adorable! I am am so happy for you and Chad! 5 lbs. 5 oz. but you know he doesn’t look small at all in the photos. Good job mom! I’m sure you’re tired. I’ll talk to you soon.
I went to the doctors today and had another Ultrasound. I have to stay focused on the positive things we learned today like the fact that she is about 2 lbs. I also love to see her face and see her little body moving around in there. But what I wanted to let everyone know is how much Jason and I appreciate all the love and support. We don’t want you to feel bad for us, even though its hard not to. We just like knowing that we have friends and family who are praying for us and thinking about us. It’s still really hard for me to talk about Kennedy without crying so I won’t write more than this but please know that it makes me feel good to know that we are in your hearts. Thank you.
